2/3/2011 - 12 Ross Intermediate students did
the school very proud with an honourable second place in the Boys Super Sport
Softball Tournament.
Highlights of the day included an 18 – 3
victory over Feilding who finished in third place. They also put Monrad away
6-1 to book a final spot with the very strong Masterton Intermedaite side, who
had won tournament for the last three years.
Despite plenty of hits and some good
fielding, experience counted in the end and Masterton won 6-0.
Teacher in charge Greg Codyre would like to thank al parents who turned up to
support the team and a special thanks to Keith Nixon, for a lot of coaching
assistance on the day.
