Guidelines for Visitors and Parents Coming into the School.

Kia ora whānau, please linked HERE a pdf outlining our expectations of visitors and parents coming into the school. These measures are in place in line with both legislative requirements as well as best identified health practice.

We are asking that you all follow our simple guidelines. We appreciate that there are a range of views around Vaccinations and Face Coverings. We do not wish to enter into any debate with people around this, if you wish to share your views then we have a special email address set up for you to send your comments to. Email your feedback to We will not be individually responding to these messages but it will be an avenue to have your voice to be heard.

Our conferences taking place next week come under these new expectations. For parents we are asking that you wear a face covering to this conference. If you are happy to show the teacher that you have had at least the first covid jab then you will be able to remove your mask. If you would prefer not to disclose this, all good, just leave your face covering on.

Parents are able to go straight to the classroom prior to their conference. Ensure that you are wearing your face covering. Hand Sanitiser will be available outside the classroom. We will be socially distanced inside the classroom as well.

Ross students are not required to wear a face covering at the conference. Face coverings applies to all adults as well as any siblings, not attending Ross, over the age of 12.

Please avoid an unnecessary scene by complying with these simple expectations. If you do not have a face covering one will be provided for you. If you simply refuse these instructions then we will not be able to accomodate you on site.

I thank you all in advance for your support of these expectations. Remember our team are here to provide you with information about your child's progress at Ross Intermediate. Let us focus on that for you please.

Ngā mihi nui,

Wayne Jenkins
