Ross Intermediate offers sporting opportunities in accordance with each sporting association and their guidelines.
Whānau will need to be aware that when registering your child for sport there will be different requirements that will need to be met from each sports code. These requirements will be added to each sports code information letter when registering.
Fees
If you know your child will be involved in a number of sports teams throughout the year we encourage you to start a payment plan for fees. Jess Kennard, our financial manager will be able to support you with this. Fee information is on the registration forms and information sheet for each code.

Communications
Communication regarding sport is sent via school emails, the school App and school Facebook page. It is important for students to check emails regularly. Students will be asked to complete a Google form, a link will be provided to register, followed by returning a permission slip and then they will be put into a team. It is vital that caregivers are aware of this process. Sports fees will be required to be paid before the season starts or communication be made requiring payment options. Term 1 registrations will be done electronically, please ask if you need a paper copy.
Coaches & Managers
We are always seeking sports coaches and managers to support the development of our teams and students. And to ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable sporting experience. Without volunteers our kids would miss out on many sporting opportunities.
Coaches will have the sports fees for their child reimbursed as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
